"His husband and her wife are going to be SO jealous when they see this!"
Last Tuesday night I had the chance to photograph another event for Cascade AIDS Project here in Portland... On the roof of The Nines at Departure... I like my job very much, yes indeed, a lot more than a little bit even.
(alas, there weren't any drag queens playing softball this time - you win some, you lose some)
But more importantly...
There are few better things a photographer could ask for than perfect natural light and this event, poised perfectly between the hours of "this-is-outrageous" and "seriously-the-heavens-are-smiling-on-us", was refaced for me by Andrew with, "It's going to be impossible to take a bad picture."
... And I'm happy to say he was right.

I should have bought a raffle ticket - this watch was gorgeous
You could buy a single raffle ticket for $1 - or an "inseam" for $20. It was a popular option.
Oh, hi, I was there too.

Unfortunately I'll be out of town the day of the walk, but if you're in the Portland area and interested in being part of this amazing event check out AIDS Walk Portland for more information!
