Jared got his first dispatch of the season!
He and the crews are off to Northern California to fight the Salt Creek Fire near Shasta in the Trinity National Forest. He's hoping for a full 14 days down there so here's hoping they see some action!
If you would, please keep him (and all the men and women down there) in your prayers!
There are few things I love more than knowing that boy is doing what he loves.
Jared, if you read this, just keep remembering that we are all so proud of you and so incredibly happy for you getting to live this dream! I can hardly find the words to tell you how much (though you and the good Lord know I'll try).
Now go fight a fire!
