and... exhale

For what it's worth,
I am very thankful for tonight.

Around 7pm or so I noticed my necklace had looped back on itself and I decided to make a wish.

(trite? sure. I adore trite.)
(name that reference!)

And for what it's worth, I think I got my wish.

I simply wished to have a wonderful evening with a friend.
(it's not bad luck if the wish has already come true, right? the stipulations here are a bit foggy)

Anyway, I got it and that's all that matters.

Tonight I was able to have a conversation with a friend that I've been simmering on for weeks in my own head and tonight, difficult as it was to get to the point we did, ended with a sense of peace.

Sometimes all it takes is finally saying something out loud and getting it off your chest.

And from here on out... I don't know. It's a mystery.

But I like mysteries - that's what life is after all, is it not?

  1. No clue where the quote is from. :/ Yes, peace and mystery are good. One gives a sense of calm and one gives a sense of what could be. Happy you got your issues resolved.
